The Market, The money and you

As I am writing this article, the sensex is climbing up or going down...
This is the volatility that is going on these days in the market. If the market is volatile we can earn a great deal out of it and its not the time of longterm investment. The volatility of the maket these days is evident from the fact that a single stock is changing upto 43% in a day.
The two most voolatile stock in the market are RNRL and Essar Oil. Relianace group stocks and the Indiabulls stocks are these days the best stocks for intra day trading as they are changing each day. If a person wants to earn some money out of the market, the time is ripe now.

But on the other side of hedge stands the losses that they can incur to the retail investors. if the stock is going down a retail investor has a proclivity of keeping the stock thinking that it will come up again. But this kind of penchant is not doing any good for the retail investors at least. If a stock is going up you should sell that stock if you have earned your pre-aimed interest negating the brokerage and any other expenses you have taken. And when your stock is going down buy more of it at lower cost(except if you are a long term investor and the stock is of very respected company). Though the scenario today with the retail investors is that they buy a stock that is going up and after which it goes down.

The stock market is kinda arcane temple from which you can get a profit that you are not expecting but also you can loose your money in a snap. nobody can tell you when its gonna rise and when its gonna fall. But you can predict upto some extent.

At last I want to put up like this "Don't try to get the maximum profit but a pre-aimed profit".

N.B.: If you are puttting your money at stake please keep a track on it through ET or BS.

The Pianist

The inside picture of a common man ... entangled in war

My comment about this movie is not different from others..It is a very good movie with quite a good direction and cinematography...Now for the folks who were in front of camera... It is inevitable that Adrien Brody will come on the top of the list... excellent face expression, unmatchable body language..the staggered way of walking' is I think the best part of it... Evrybody in the movie has done a great job... for every small role...I think this movie worth a watch and most of all a thinking... this is a movie that will of course leave an imprint in your mind that will remain forever..to sum up...a masterpiece by Roman Polanski...

Chak de India

Right place right time around I-day
Once again it is proved that patriotism is the weak point for Indians.Indians want to see movies with patriotism thrust in it. This actually proves the thing that how the movie has left the box office ticking. The Director and the Production house has capitalized on this theory and of course the rivalry between India and Australia. If it would have been a movie released a few years back the final would have been between India and Pakistan.Okay lets see what we can say about the movie, storyline not a new one (except for the hockey), though some say it is. Screenplay is quite predictable. Now what , let's take the acting, it is not good though we didn't expected much from the new comers but some scenes needed retake.Let's talk about Preeti Sabarwal (some Ghatge), her expression is not more than a log of wood and in spite of that she is given a role that stands apart from the crowd (bad choice of actress for this role).Chautala and Naik are good from the point of acting fro their respective parts. Few dialogues are weak and somewhat stretched.I think I am being a bit harsh on the movie but of course some thums up are there like the cinematography which is I think the primary thing that may attract the crowd to the theatres as it can be best appreciated on a big screen. Of course the sound effect is terrific eg. nice sound with ball striking the stick or the board of the goal and the background score. One thing is not predictable in the movie is the Mc Donald scene which is good I think. All in all okie tokie types.

21 grams

Not much can be said against the movie but one thing that why the screenplay is so random. The movie is all about relationship with all kinds of crest and trough. The screenplay is good though random jumping from a wild scene to a much quieter ones. All the cheers are for the director from the off-scene crews, he has so meticulously designed the movie into a classic one. He has also worked quite hard for each and every scene and everything that is shown in the movie is intentional and planned. I think he has done quite a many retakes to make the movie so much ecstatic. Background scores and sounds are good eg. Penn's breath sound is too good.Sean Penn as always has done a beautiful job but the scope for acting is even better for Naomi Watts and she has proved her excellence in acting. Every scene is intense and probably every scene with Watts is and is well done.Del Toro is also very good and his nomination for Oscar is justified. His acting and expression as a sinner is very well displayed.Rest is good, a must watch for the appreciation of direction and acting.

LotR - The fellowship of the ring

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring is a movie that you don’t want to miss. It’s a real beauty that you’ll want to watch again and again. The startup commentary is one of the best among all Hollywood movies, and Galadriel’s voice is ethereal. The depiction of Gollum’s character in a shadowy manner is quite terrific. Although this movie mainly concentrates on fights rather than battles, some of the scenes at the beginning of the movie are ecstatic.

The adaptation is thorough, although 3.5 hours is not enough to capture all the intricate details like Tom Bombadil and Bilbo Baggins’ escape from Gollum’s cave. The whole movie seems majestic and it’s very difficult not to like it. Every bit of it is terrific, from the Bridge of Khaza-dum to Bree, the gates of Rivendell, and the mines of Moria.

One cannot forget the depiction of the Shire which looks so innocent a place and the stress on the color green is absolutely stunning. If you ever plan to see this movie, see it now and I know you’ll like it every second of it.

American History X

American History X is a movie that has been described as a gift to Hollywood. It’s a powerful and gripping movie that provides a great performance from Edward Norton and a graphic tale involving the influences of society in the household and relationships. The movie has a very good storyline, screenplay, script, and direction. Edward Norton’s acting in particular is very good.

While there are only a few very good dialogs in the movie and that too in the end of the movie, it’s still worth watching for its good story and acting. The cinematography is not remarkable but sound editing is good. There is not much scope for costumes and sets .

Critics have praised American History X for its powerful scenes and well-drawn sketches. Roger Ebert has said that while there are powerful scenes in the movie, it needs sweep where it only has plot.
