American History X

American History X is a movie that has been described as a gift to Hollywood. It’s a powerful and gripping movie that provides a great performance from Edward Norton and a graphic tale involving the influences of society in the household and relationships. The movie has a very good storyline, screenplay, script, and direction. Edward Norton’s acting in particular is very good.

While there are only a few very good dialogs in the movie and that too in the end of the movie, it’s still worth watching for its good story and acting. The cinematography is not remarkable but sound editing is good. There is not much scope for costumes and sets .

Critics have praised American History X for its powerful scenes and well-drawn sketches. Roger Ebert has said that while there are powerful scenes in the movie, it needs sweep where it only has plot.
